Standard Chartered to hold its 28th AGM today; 51.50% dividend to be approved

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) is convening its 28th annual general meeting (AGM) today. The AGM is schedule to starts at 1:00 PM at Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. 


It has already proposed 51.50 percent dividend – 10 percent bonus share and 41.50 percent cash – to its shareholders from the profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

The major agendas for the AGM are approval of financial statement of FY 2070/71 and approval of dividend declared by the BOD.

The bank is also set to increase its authorized capital to Rs 3 arba subject to approval from its annual general meeting.
